Rudolph Hostetter Burquist
March 22, 1914 - November 5, 2007 Rudy was my father and my inspiration to work in glass. Born in Duluth, Minnesota, and a long
time resident of Wellington, Texas, Mobile, Alabama and Chattanooga,
Tennessee, he was a man of
many talents – master carpenter, tinsmith,
engineer, turkey farmer, and stained glass artist.
He was a long time participant in the Nilly Bipper Craft Show as well
as exhibiting in numerous craft shows and galleries throughout the
Southeast.
